Petition to Repeal Waiting Periods in Florida

To My Elected Officials

WHEREAS: Florida’s three-day waiting period law delays law-abiding citizens of their right to possess firearms; and

WHEREAS: Under this law, citizens are left vulnerable when they might need the means to self-protection most; and

WHEREAS: Delaying the right of law-abiding citizens to access protection emboldens dangerous criminals; and

WHEREAS: This law violates the Second Amendment to the Unites States Constitution.

THEREFORE: I urge you to REPEAL Florida’s law mandating a three-day waiting period for delivery of legally purchased firearms. Florida Gun Rights will keep me informed of your actions.
