Dear Fellow Patriot,

Nearly 9,000 petitions have been filed to have government agents strip someone of their gun rights without due process since “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation became law in 2018.

Florida Gun Rights is working relentlessly to REPEAL this draconian law and restore the Second Amendment.

So-called Republican leadership has been the thorn in gun owners’ side keeping legislation to repeal “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation from getting a committee hearing, let alone a full vote.

But with newly elected Republican supermajorities there is hope grassroots pressure will make them realize there is no rational excuse to keep the dangerous due process-shredding “Red Flag” law on the books.

So, we need as many law-abiding gun owners as possible to stand up and demand their legislators repeal this draconian legislation immediately.

Petition to Repeal “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation in Florida

To My Elected Officials

WHEREAS: Florida’s “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation law allows gun owners to be stripped of their rights without due process; and

WHEREAS: Under these so-called “risk protection orders,” guns could be taken away from law-abiding citizens just because someone complains about them; and

WHEREAS: These schemes violate the Second, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments to the United States Constitution; and

WHEREAS: Gun confiscation orders have a chilling effect on free speech by frightening gun owners into not speaking out about their beliefs for fear of having their guns seized by the state.

THEREFORE: I urge you to wholeheartedly do everything in your power to REPEAL Florida’s “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation law. Florida Gun Rights will keep me informed of your actions.
